A proposal for a 12-kilometre coastal boardwalk that would restore fragile cliff-edge habitats while providing world-class visitor access to one of Ireland's most iconic landscapes. The design would use locally sourced limestone and weathering steel to create a trail system that disappears into the terrain, allowing native flora to reclaim the edges.

Our Approach
Working with the geological survey of Ireland and local ecologists, we would map every centimetre of the cliff edge to identify areas of critical habitat. The boardwalk would follow a sinuous path that avoids nesting sites and rare plant communities, while elevated viewing platforms would cantilever over the Atlantic to provide dramatic vantage points.
