A proposed model for climate-adaptive residential courtyards that would demonstrate how small-scale green infrastructure can dramatically improve liveability. The courtyard would manage 100% of its rainwater on-site through rain gardens, permeable surfaces, and a living wall system.
Our Approach
Microclimate analysis would reveal that strategic tree planting and a living wall could reduce summer temperatures by 4°C. Every plant would be selected for its dual role: aesthetic beauty and ecological function.
